Notice a gain with the header? And it has a flex pipe or no? If yes to both would you be so kind as to find out shipping to 93304? We all know my car needs help :)

yes it has a flexpipe, and yes there is a little bit of a gain at the top end. The welds were reinforced when I purchased it, and the o2 sensor plug was fixed, but there is still a raspy sound because of the way the air sounds. You should also get a new o2 sensor if you really want it, you might throw a check engine light if you don't. Let me get my stock exhaust thrown back on and i'll see how much to ship. which might be next weekend since I have to take it to a shop (my old exhaust is welded in)

also note, that the obx design is the same design as the stock manifold...only its stainless so it has better airflow. You will see a gain topend though, while loosing some low end.

ok that's going along with what I've heard about those. My O2 sensor might need replaced anyway. I'm still trying to clear that one CEL anyway so it's fine.

The CEL pops up with the header because there is more airflow, so the o2 sensor thinks there is something wrong....its easily clearable.

nah, shifter is staying.....its such a pain in the ass to assemble/disassemble the lower half of the dash...and I don't have the replacement washers for the stock shifter.

I will let you know if I decide to part out the suspension (I would have to get a new setup), I am going to be to busy this week to really part anything out as I told Mack already. Earliest I could get to it would be next weekend.

Header definitely does make a difference when I had my 8th gen with I/E would run my boy with a 04 9th gen I/h/e he would beat me by two cars then I through on the header and we were neck and neck That's a two car difference man so defeintly buy it bro I recommend it

it does make it that much faster. It just keeps more power top end in the power band so when you shift there is more power. Daily driving and shifting at the 3500 mark you will see a performance loss.

BPU upgrades add 10hp at the best without tuning...20 with tuning...the biggest difference is seen in the distribution of available power. CAI will help low end, SRI top end....4-1 headers top end 4-2-1 low/mid. The stock setup on the corolla emphasizes low and mid range power, and lacks top end.

i guess I'll take the obx header seeing as thats the last thing i need to do a proper i/h/e. how or where can I get my car tuned to the new upgrades? I originally went to a company called PSI. they rebuilt my engine with some tuning but it all cost me around 1100 bucks and they are a fucking pain in the ass to deal with (it took 3 months to talk to them not to mention actually getting them to do it). So how do I go about tuning my carro

    dyno tune.

all parts on the car are currently on hold. I need to actually get them off, and the header was spoken for by Mack first....except now I cant get it out of my car

Well get an apexi vafc or safc(preferably a vafc) installed and take it to someone that dyno tunes if you were down here I could tell you many good tuners but your not lol and there you go from there you will want to add more stuff like I was going to do after getting I/h/e I had a 2zz manifold ready to go in with bigger injectors(2zz ones) fuel pressure regulator then I was going to add some pulleys get a shorter serpentine belt to remove power steering, e85(maybe), weight reduction I already had the cf hood on from there open her up and build it all motor ... I'm still doing that but with a 20v I already got 1jz inectors Took off power steering off already, it's the lightest version 7th gen it has no airbags or power anything, going to have custom headers made and from there same plan I had for the 1zz

Aw damn. Mack are you getting the header?

Thanks sk149 that actually helped a whole ton. I have many mods to my engine without proper tuning. I cant wait to see what performance I can get out of with with a good tune. That and I really need to kill this auto tranny so i can make way for a manual with a stage 2 clutch :D

He is first in line for whenever I figure out how to get the header off...Unless you want my stock header/down pipe?

I would probably be willing to sell the muffler if anyone wanted it, I could really do without the noise. The items bolded in black are still for sale.

Just kidding, everything is too rusted on to get it off, not only that, but my stock muffler has a stripped bolt that is stuck in the threading so I can't even put it back on =[

So basically, the only things for sale are the thing in black. Unless someone wants to make an offer ont he car.

What about the header? If you have to get it cut off, how will it bolt on to my car correctly?

Which you just have to go to your local exhaust shop and they will do it for you no big deal

He said there is a flex pipe already on there, but if the header is welded to the cat, it would have to be cut off, which would make it un-direct-boltable to my car.
