IIHS Rates the Safest Cars of 2012

i noticed some say after a certain build month/year and even some mention certain models like hatchback, sedan, except 4wd, etc. i would think if one car passes most of the line would, but construction must change enough that certain models don't retain the safety.

Hope I never find out how safe my 12 going on 13 year old car is.

Genesis coupe, MX5, Evo IX, 2012 Passat diesel, just a few of them.

I feel like such a loner here with my honda.

IIRC the Gensis and Passat were rated the highest out of all those.


And IIRC the corolla got 3/5 stars on the current rating system. (4.5/5 for the new corolla) still not terrible.

3/5 is pretty bad lol.

considering older 90s hyundais got 2/5. besides they test all sorts of stuff that was never tested back in the day...like side curtain airbags, foot well airbags, ect. It did good back when it was rated.

i got some lights around the bushes out front and thats it. my house looks like crap
