So after the deal with the previous cars I had lined up fell through I ended up just getting this 07 5 speed Accord:
Yes it is a VP *face palm* but as many of you have seen my corolla when I first got it was just a crummy VE like this VP, hey that rhymes!

Anyways, stock just dosent cut it for me, I like to stick out and have something unique so taking all my experience from the corolla to the accord I'm gonna make sure I do everything right the first time. I don't plan on doing much to the accord but heres my to do list:

    Future/Current Mod List:

    • OEM Trunk Lip
    • OEM Hybrid Tail Lights
    • OEM Front Lip

    Install in 2 days.

    Update:
I have come to the conclusion that I want my car done exactly as the picture below minus the chrome door trim, just something subtle:

    Though here are some other clean ones that inspired me;

I'll be posting updates as I make any. Simple and clean is the name of this game.
Oh btw, the wheels in the second picture are $4500 dollar wheels from Acura...

congrats on the new vehicle. I really like the rims in the 1st pic. The colors of the rims and car look good together. I agree, keep it simple and clean. The rims in the 2nd pic have the same split-spoke and outward curving towards the ends as my other rims. I dont like those as much though.

I like the look of the older rear end in the first 2 pics... Don't like re-design when they switched to triangular taillights. That's what you have though right?

Still a nice car don't get me wrong, my mom has had Accords since the early 90s, they're great cars. Just gonna be more work to make that version look good. Just my 2 cents though, even stock, your car is better than mine. Manual = win.

If there's a way to get rid of that front grill front without damaging the bumper I say do it.
I'm sure you'll get the car looking nice. Keep us updated.

I'll probably black out the chrome and put in a red vtec emblem.

Well this is a 2000 accord from hidplanet retrofit of the month and it looks sexy without a grill.
plus it hides the fact that the car is a honda which is also a plus lol

Yeah thats like comparison to a 98-00 corolla bumper compared to mine that already has the fog light holes.

At least he noted that it was a different year, I assume he was just making an example of what you could do. It can't be done with OEM parts, but if you could do that somehow easily, I say go for it.

I already have my mind set on what I want to do, hardest thing will be finding the wheels i want since thyre OEM acura wheels and i dont know of many people throwing those up on craigslist. Other than that im not exactly sure how hard it will be o change the suspension out either.

Honda's are fairly easy to work on. Everything in an Accord is just like 1.4 times bigger than a Corolla.

Yeah with the rolla it's like this:
    Car falls on you
    Hmm that's unfortunate
Pick car up and place back on jack stands
    Continue wasting time with Corolla

I just wanted to show an example of how it improves the look of the car not having the honda emblem lol
    I know it's a completely different accord
yet it still brings ideas to the table. heck I have a corolla and get ideas from pictures of M3s lol

Yeah it looks sick though, my mom has that Accord. Well a sedan, but the front is almost the same. If I get it someday I've already got some plans for it haha. But I'd rather have that Evo I'm saving for.

Hondas are known for the best shifters as well... at least in civics and of course the s2000. How is it in the accord?

its not too bad, im not the best stick driver its been a while since i learned on a stick and then started driving an auto (fail) but i like it in second gear up hill feels nothing like the corolla. when you put your foot down in the corolla it starts screaming and then like 5 minutes later finally gets moving.

Sounds great, yeah wheels and drop makes any car look great. I also like the black head lights and window tint.

Im thinking ill black out the head lights and the emblem on the front maybe a red honda emblem on the trunk or front.
